An e-mail on applying with no questions asked

Has anybody successfully applied for a Medigap supplemental insurance plan? Most plans require a copy of a termination notice of the Traditional Indemnity plan from Alcatel-Lucent. Did yours require that? What did you supply? Please post for tohers to read.

When I called AARP, they said it was approved on Monday as "Guaranteed Issue" with no preexisting conditions restriction. I had sent AARP a copy of the original notice we received terminating Traditional Indemnity and giving us SH. I also sent AARP a copy of our Traditional Indemnity card and a copy of the LRO email with Hickey's quotes in it (but not the HIPAA certificate of coverage, which wasn't received yet).

On 11/11/08 I sent you the scanned AARP form of the page that asked for the termination notice in 3 (c). I didn't speak to them about it except when I first asked them to send me the form. At the time I told them I had gotten a letter along with everyone else and it was not a personal termination letter. I never really discussed it with them. When I filled out the form I sent the three items I mentioned below and a cover letter along with the completed form

I got a Medigap plan F from Mutual of Omaha for my wife and I. Here in CA the premium for a male age 70 was $140.34 and a female age 68 was $112.17.
We got our policies and cards last week.
We also got a Part D drug plan from Medco for both of us. The Value plan, which costs us $31.60 each.
